‘Warns of what can happen when a certain type of individual has
almost unlimited power. Even before his misdeeds escalated under
the authority of his U.S. presidency, George W. Bush was known in
some circles as the biggest serial killer in the history of the
state of Texas. Included are 152 “BU--SH--!” logotypes, one for
each person executed under the 5-year reign of “Governor Death.”
(Bush approved executions despite “ineffective counsel [e.g., a
defense attorney who slept during the trial], conflict of interest,
mitigating evidence, even actual evidence of innocence.”) It is
notable that 57 of the decisions were based on inadequate and cursory
briefings prepared by now Attorney General Alberto R. Gonzales.
Too bad we didn’t know how big this flag might be under the reign
of President Death. New York Times, June 15, 2003
